The Wright's Christmas Letter 2000
Dear Family & Friends, Greetings from Georgia! We love the seasons, hills, real trees, and southern hospitality! Georgia is so much HOME, we are grateful to live here. Mark is a Director with Atlanta Gas Light. He enjoys his position and travelling less. LeShay is now 18 and can vote. What a year to be involved in the presidential election! This year she worked for a group of vets, to prepare for vet school. She carried all A’s in college and heads for UGA (Univ of Georgia, Athens) in January - 3 credits shy of being a junior. Chantelle (16) sings and performs onstage - at churches, schools, organizations and campaigns. She will be in the Miss Georgia Teen America Pageant in February, and hopes to bring home a Tiara! She was in the top ten at a local pageant, and with that being her first, we learned alot! Her beaded jewelry business has a home on the web: www.KiaraKreations.com. Take a peek! Brent (14) is growing into a young man. He works for our home business, alWright! Publishing. He also dabbles in the stock market. Neal (11) is in 11th grade and hopes to be a page at the state capital when he turns 12. Still looking towards a future in politics, he watched the presidential campaign closely. He is the Patrol Guide (leader) for our church’s Royal Rangers Outpost (Christian Boy Scouts) and earned badges in: insects, Bible, Foreign Language, Astronomy, and is working on one for the Presidents. Kelsey (9) is in Missionettes (Christian Girl Scouts), loves reading and playing computer. She sings and is in the 6th grade. Kaylor (7) loves school, playing outside, riding bikes, and being a boy. Morgan (6) is learning to read and write. His progress amazes us. He still has autistic symptoms, but is clearly coming back to our world! Kaitlyn (5) wants to be a gymnast and dancer and wear those pretty clothes. Kym turned down the offer to write for another magazine, choosing instead to focus on our family, our family business, decorating our home, the children’s schooling and careers, and meals. We’ve found that you just can’t "wing" a meal of leftovers for a family of ten, so everything must be pre-planned and pre-pared! This summer she thoroughly enjoyed her cruise to Switzerland, Greece, and Turkey. Having been raised in Europe, she loved revisiting the sites. Two Pomeranian females joined our family. Little Miss and Cinnamon are sweet and feisty. Hope your Christmas is a time of blessing, for yourself and others. Know that you are in our thoughts, conversations and prayers. Let us hear from you. Love, Mark, Kym, LeShay, Chantelle, Brent, Neal, Kelsey, Kaylor, Morgan, & Kaitlyn |
